Yet another adventure

I got on the Metro at Convention Center this morning to come to my house from Karriem's and I got on the northbound train. When the train pulled into the tunnel and stopped I realized that I had mistakenly gotten on the Yellow Line which was going out of service in order to turn around and go back the other way. I wasn't all that confortable being stuck in the tunnel, but I knew it wouldn't be for long. So when the conductor came through I immediately appologized and told him what I had done to which he responded by tearing me a new one about how I should know which train I'm getting on and how he doesn't make the "train is going out of service" announcement once the train has reached the platform. The thing was though that he didn't just tell me this and go on his way, he kept walking away and coming back lecturing me more. Now, I felt that I was justified in my confusion as I had yet to see a train going out of service without an announcement however, I refrained from defending myself as I was now stuck inside a tunnel on an otherwise empty train with, apparently, a madman! This was all quite terrifying to me, but he finally went on his way and I got on a Green Line and all was well, but I simply have to ask, Is Metro so hard of for labor that they'll hire a guy that gets this angry (by 10am no less?!?) or is there simply something about me that screams "be me to me, throw stuff at me in the streets!"
